Martin Del Prado - President
Commencing his career as an apprentice within LU IBEW 456, Martin Del Prado ascended the ranks to assume roles of increasing responsibility, including Foreman and General Foreman. His extensive hands-on involvement spans diverse environments such as expansive data centers, medical facilities, life science campuses, and utility sites, among others.
While actively contributing in the field, Martin Del Prado concurrently pursued academic advancement, enrolling in NJIT’s Engineering Management program and diligently attending evening classes. His dedication led to successive promotions, first as a proficient BIM ("Building Information Modeling") Engineer and subsequently as a proficient Project Manager.
This trajectory culminated in his ascension from Project Manager to Project Executive and eventually to the esteemed position of Vice President/Director of Operations. In this elevated role, he provided oversight to a substantial workforce exceeding 100 IBEW Electricians, Project Managers, and Superintendents. Martin Del Prado's accomplishments are augmented by a portfolio of esteemed certifications, alongside his role as an instructor, where he adeptly conveyed his knowledge in BIM Engineering and Apprenticeship classes for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
The remarkable journey spanning from his initial apprenticeship to his adept management of over 100 IBEW electricians, coupled with his adept orchestration of multi-million-dollar projects, uniquely equips Martin Del Prado to spearhead DPI in establishing an innovative industry benchmark.
